Darlene Edwards has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology of Human Development in Diverse Cultures from Metropolitan State University Saint Paul, MN. She has twenty five years’ experience in leadership and organizational skills stimming from her work in Early childhood education, her role in motivating students success from application to graduation as Senior Enrollment and Completion Advisor at NAU, and as an Ally for Women, children and those in connection to and inclusive of the LGBTQ community, specifically those of color.
She is currently working with Voices for Racial Justice 2019/20 Education Equity Parent Fellowship; Training, and building awareness for Black, Brown, and Indigenous people and parents engaged or affected by public Educational System. She enjoys writing, reading good books and horseback riding whenever possible.
